Kia ora, Welcome to the School of Beauty and Hairdressing. We offer a suite of professional courses from pre-apprentice hairdressing to beautician quals. Learn about our courses, the staff who teach them, our salon days and much more.

  • National Certificate in Hairdressing (Salon Support)

    Gain the National Certificate in Hairdressing (Salon Support) (level 3) on this 18 week, full-time course designed for those interested in hairdressing as a career. Course starts in February and July. LEVEL 3

  • Certificate in Beauty Therapy

    The Certificate in Beauty Therapy is a one-year, full-time course starting in February for people who want to begin a career in the beauty industry. LEVEL 4

  • Certificate in Beauty and Hairdressing

    The Whitireia Certificate in Beauty and Hairdressing is a one-year full time course starting in February, for those interested in the hairdressing and make-up artistry industries. LEVEL 3

  • Certificate in Work Skills (Retail and Cosmetic Services)

    The Certificate in Retail and Cosmetic Services is a one-year, full-time course specifically designed for 16-17 year olds who want to gain a qualification in retail and cosmetic services. LEVEL 2
