The Auckland City Campus offers English, business, hospitality, teaching and computing programmes. It has separate learning support services, tailored to the needs of international students.

  • Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood Education)

    Become a confident and competent early childhood teacher with a good understanding of our social context in New Zealand. This programme includes three social/cultural perspectives: Māori, Pacific and general. LEVEL 7

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education

    This qualification has been designed for the international market. It will provide a sound background in early childhood education and enable you to gain employment in your home country. LEVEL 5

  • Bachelor of Information Technology (Level 7)

    Design, engineer, build and create programs, networks, phone systems, mobile applications, databases and websites for the information and communication technologies of the future. Hands-on learning in IT.

  • Graduate Diploma in Information Technology (Level 7)

    Specialise in programming, networks, phone systems, mobile applications, databases, servers and websites. Formalise recognition of your specialist information and communication technology ability and skills.

  • Diploma in Information Technology (Level 6)

    A hands on learning focus to develop your skills in engineering and building programmes, websites, databases, networks and servers. Your stepping stone into the Bachelor of Information Technology or into the workforce.

  • Diploma in Information Technology (Level 5)

    Hands on learning to develop your skills in creating programmes, web pages, networks and databases. Your stepping stone to the Diploma in Information Technology (Level 6).

  • Diploma in Radio Journalism

    Learn voice and audio skills to go with research, interviewing, writing, photography and video storytelling. Graduates can get jobs in radio, TV, podcasting, web, mobile, social media and newspapers, as videographers and in PR/communications. LEVEL 5

  • Postgraduate Diploma in Information Technology (Level 8)

    Research the latest development in an area of interest to you. Update and extend your knowledge through in-depth study of the latest technologies in your area of specialty. Enhance your Project Management skills.

  • Master of Information Technology (Level 9)

    Focus your research on the latest developments in your area of speciality. Gain internationally recognised skills and knowledge in the area of Information Technology to assist New Zealand in its drive toward a knowledge-based economy.

  • Master of Management

    The specific aim of the Master of Management is to enable students to advance and deepen their knowledge within a specialised field of management and extend their intellectual, leadership and strategic capabilities. (Level 9)

  • Postgraduate Diploma in Management

    The specific aim of the Postgraduate Diploma in Management is to enable students to advance and deepen their knowledge of management and extend their professional and managerial skills. (Level 8)

  • English Language Skills (Auckland and Porirua)

    The English Language Skills programmes are open to speakers of other languages who would like to improve their English language skills as a pathway to further study or employment. The Programmes are suitable for both international and local students.

  • New Zealand Certificate in Hospitality (Level 2)

    Gain skills to work in the food and beverage industry. This programme covers coffee and tea making, food service and practical experience in our on-site training cafe. You will gain the New Zealand Certificate in Hospitality (Level 2)

  • Graduate Diploma in Applied Business Studies (Porirua and Auckland)

    This programme is for students who have already completed a degree outside the field of business. Specialise in Management or Finance at our Porirua campus or Marketing, Management, Finance and Hospitality at our Auckland campus. LEVEL 7

  • New Zealand Diploma in Business (Porirua and Auckland)

    Gain a grounding in business with this nationally recognised qualification. Students can choose to specialise in management or follow the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants Accounting Technician pathway. LEVEL 6

  • Certificate in Information Technology (Level 5)

    Build your skills to create programs, websites, computers and small networks. Your stepping stone into the Diploma in Information Technoloy(Level 5) or into the Bachelor of Information Technology.

  • Diploma in Digital Design and Multimedia

    Develop your abilities in design to produce a professional portfolio specialising in print, web or motion. Publication design, digital illustration, branding and identity, web interactive design and 3D modelling animation, graphic design options. LEVEL 6

  • Bachelor of Applied Business Studies (Porirua and Auckland)

    Learn practical business skills that will enable graduates to work within a variety of organisations. Focus on outcomes including strong communication, people skills and technical knowledge. LEVEL 7

  • New Zealand Diploma in Cookery (Advanced) (Level 5)

    Gain skills in advanced food preparation and become competent employees who can work in intermediate chef positions producing complex dishes in a commercial kitchen. LEVEL 5

  • National Diploma in Hospitality (Management) (Level 5)

    Gain knowledge, skills and practical experience to begin a career in the hospitality industry in front-line positions, with hotels, restaurants and bars, leading to management level. You will undergo an internship in the second year. LEVEL 5
