The Auckland City Campus offers English, business, hospitality, teaching and computing programmes. It has separate learning support services, tailored to the needs of international students.

  • New Zealand Certificate in English Language (Porirua and Petone)

    Learn to understand, speak, read and write English for study, work and everyday situations.

  • Certificate in English Language (Porirua)

    This full-fees programme is for speakers of other languages, usually international, who wish to improve their English for academic purposes. Improve your understanding, speaking, reading and writing of English at Elementary to Upper Intermediate level.

  • Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood Education)

    Become a confident and competent early childhood teacher with a good understanding of our social context in New Zealand. This programme includes three social/cultural perspectives: Māori, Pacific and general. LEVEL 7

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education

    This qualification has been designed for the international market. It will provide a sound background in early childhood education and enable you to gain employment in your home country. LEVEL 5

  • Bachelor of Information Technology (Level 7)

    Design, engineer, build and create programs, networks, phone systems, mobile applications, databases and websites for the information and communication technologies of the future. Hands-on learning in IT.

  • Graduate Diploma in Information Technology (Level 7)

    Specialise in programming, networks, phone systems, mobile applications, databases, servers and websites. Formalise recognition of your specialist information and communication technology ability and skills.

  • Diploma in Information Technology (Level 6)

    A hands on learning focus to develop your skills in engineering and building programmes, websites, databases, networks and servers. Your stepping stone into the Bachelor of Information Technology or into the workforce.

  • Diploma in Information Technology (Level 5)

    Hands on learning to develop your skills in creating programmes, web pages, networks and databases. Your stepping stone to the Diploma in Information Technology (Level 6).

  • Postgraduate Diploma in Information Technology (Level 8)

    Research the latest development in an area of interest to you. Update and extend your knowledge through in-depth study of the latest technologies in your area of specialty. Enhance your Project Management skills.

  • National Certificate in Radio (Foundation Skills)

    ​Enter the high energy world of radio and discover the many dynamic areas of commercial broadcasting. LEVEL 3

  • English Language Skills (Auckland)

    The English Language Skills programmes are open to speakers of other languages who would like to improve their English language skills as a pathway to further study or employment. The Programmes are suitable for both international and local students.

  • New Zealand Certificate in Hospitality (Level 2)

    Gain skills to work in the food and beverage industry. This programme covers coffee and tea making, food service and practical experience in our on-site training cafe. You will gain the New Zealand Certificate in Hospitality. LEVEL 2

  • Graduate Diploma in Applied Business Studies (Porirua and Auckland)

    This programme is for students who have already completed a degree outside the field of business. Specialise in Management or Finance at our Porirua campus or Marketing, Management, Finance and Hospitality at our Auckland campus. LEVEL 7

  • New Zealand Diploma in Business (Porirua and Auckland)

    Gain a grounding in business with this nationally recognised qualification. Students can choose to specialise in management or follow the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants Accounting Technician pathway. LEVEL 6

  • Certificate in Foundation Education (Business) (Porirua)

    (NOT CURRENTLY OFFERED) Develop skills and practices to help you move into degree study in business, where you can major in management, marketing, finance or hospitality. LEVEL 4

  • Certificate in Information Technology (Level 5)

    Build your skills to create programs, websites, computers and small networks. Your stepping stone into the Diploma in Information Technoloy(Level 5) or into the Bachelor of Information Technology.

  • Bachelor of Applied Business Studies (Porirua and Auckland)

    Learn practical business skills that will enable graduates to work within a variety of organisations. Focus on outcomes including strong communication, people skills and technical knowledge. LEVEL 7

  • New Zealand Institute of Management (NZIM) Diploma in Management (Auckland)

    Gain a professional management qualification to advance your career. Learn valuable management skills to understand people and organisations. LEVEL 5

  • Diploma in Professional Cookery

    Gain skills in food preparation, cooking, and serving food along with training in bakery and patisserie skills. Students will have an opportunity to gain three internationally recognised City & Guilds certificate and diploma qualifications. LEVEL 5

  • National Diploma in Hospitality (Management) (Level 5)

    Gain knowledge, skills and practical experience to begin a career in the hospitality industry in front-line positions, with hotels, restaurants and bars, leading to management level. You will undergo an internship in the second year. LEVEL 5
