Faculty of Business

The Faculty offers a range of programmes and courses in Applied Business Studies and Information Technology, to bachelor degree level in both disciplines

Faculty staff have wide experience in the Business and IT industries and are expert in passing on key knowledge for student success.

Flexible options offered at Whitireia allow students to start their studies at foundation level, progressing through certificate and diploma levels to complete with a degree. Alternatively, students are able to start at much higher levels, depending upon previous work and study experience.

There are a number of pathways open to students in both the business and IT areas. The business degree offers majors in Finance, Marketing and Management. While the IT degree includes PC Support, Networking, Systems Analysis and Programming.

All our programmes are fully approved by NZQA and respected by employers. When we surveyed employers, they rated our degrees first class qualifications, as students are required to work with industry and actual business problems and solutions, enabling them to be work ready from the day they graduate.
