Faculty of Health

The Faculty of Health was established to create an environment that models and nurtures leadership qualities and excellence in tertiary education

A number of Centres of Learning sit within the faculty and offer a range of programmes from introductory level through to postgraduate level.

Support for these programmes is provided by a network of lecturers and support staff who are dedicated to ensuring that every student has the opportunity to succeed in their learning.

The Faculty of Health offers areas of excellence in education in postgraduate study as the second largest provider of postgraduate nursing to in New Zealand. The faculty also feeds graduates to, and offers professional development for, a number of District Health Boards.
