​The New Zealand Radio Training School, located in our Media Training Centre in Wellington City, and in our Auckland campus, offers students complete hands-on training in radio.

Owned by Whitireia New Zealand Limited, the New Zealand Radio Training School offers study towards a Certificate in Commercial Broadcasting.  This programme covers all the things you need to know for a career in commercial radio including: copywriting, programming and producing for radio, running promotions and live broadcasting.

Students not only work in a classroom but also in purpose built studios designed to provide a complete radio experience. Professional tutors, all with comprehensive backgrounds in radio, offer students highly interactive learning opportunities, through practical study.
