Certificate in Commercial Road Transport 

Learn to drive trucks and other heavy road transporters on this course. You will gain your heavy vehicle licence, as well as endorsements for driving forklifts, dangerous goods and other special type vehicles.     LEVEL 2

Description

The aim of the course is to assist students to gain the necessary driving licence to gain employment in the road transport industry, together with the knowledge and skills to work safely as a road transport operator.

The course comprises unit standards from the National Certificate in Commercial Road Transport (Goods Service).

Class times are Monday to Friday between 9 am and 3 pm where possible, and follow the primary school holidays.

  • Forklift 'F' Endorsement
  • Dangerous Goods 'D' Endorsement
  • Passenger 'P' Endorsement is available as an optional extra.

The opportunity to obtain Class 4 is available for those who already hold Class 2, or Class 5 for those who already hold Class 4.

COURSE COMPLETION

A student has completed if they have successfully passed the relevant licences and endorsements.
