Programme Overview

The National Certificate in Computing (Level 3) is for students who want to develop their computing skills to a higher level.  This course would suit people with computing skills, ie can make folders, do basic word and excel, but who want to become more proficient and develop work ready computing skills.  Ideal for people who hold a level 2 qualification (or equivalent skills/experience), or students who need a foundation course to start them on a pathway towards a computing career.

  • Improve your computing skills
  • Use Word (word processing) Excel (spreadsheets), Publisher (Publications) and Access (database)
  • Computer theory and ergonomics

All classes are taught by experienced and friendly tutors, with full tutor contact.

From 1 January 2012, membership in the Whitireia Independent Students Association (WISA) will be voluntary.   Whitireia New Zealand and WISA are working together to set up processes for this change.
