There are 6 courses and programmes

  • Bachelor of Social Work

    Become a competent social worker, with a commitment to the provision of social services within a context of ethical practice and accountability. LEVEL 7

  • Certificate in Health Professional Practice Development

    A certificate containing a selection of modules that contributes to your professional practice development and can be used as evidence of professional development under the Health Practitioner Competency Assurance Act (2003). LEVEL 7

  • National Certificate in Mental Health (Support Work)

    Gain the skills needed to work in mental health, either mainstream or Māori, in a variety of settings. Graduates are qualified to work in a range of mental health care services. LEVEL 4

  • National Diploma in Mental Health (Support Work)

    This diploma is designed for people who have already developed, or wish to develop, a higher level of competence in mental health support work than is covered by the National Certificate. They must also lead a team of mental health workers. LEVEL 6

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Nursing

    Builds on the existing knowledge and experience, while providing an environment that supports the acquisition of knowledge and skills in beginning nursing practice. There are 3 streams: • Mental Health • Graduate Nurse • Change of Scope LEVEL 8

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Specialty Care

    Registered health professionals working in specialty practice will extend their understanding and gain a nationally-recognised qualification in a variety of practice areas. LEVEL 8
