Photocopying and Printing
Using the Photocopier/Printers (MFDs) in the Library
What is an MFD?
- A Multi Functional Device (MFD) is both a printer and a photocopier
- A swipe card reader that reads your ID card is attached to each MFD
- This allows you to retrieve your print jobs from a queue on the server and print them on any of the polytechnic's MFDs
- Instruction brochures: click here download Student or Staff brochures
What do I need?
- Your ID card which will access any MFD on Campus - you cannot print or copy without it
- Paper: you have an initial allocation of $20 which reduces when you print or photocopy
- Charges: Black and white: 8c for A4 16c for A3 Colour: 20 for A4 40c for A3
- To top up your paper allocation a top up machine will be available in the library for notes only so there is a $5 minimum charge
- For EFTPOS top ups visit the Cashier in Customer Services
How do I use the MFDs?
