Whitireia Graduation Ceremonies 

Graduation is a time to celebrate your success with family and friends. Once you have completed your Whitireia qualifications and met the requirements of your programme, you can apply to graduate. We encourage you to attend graduation, and invite your friends and families to join you in this celebration. 

 

UPCOMING GRADUATIONS IN 2015

Thursday 19 March 2015

Time: 1pm
Venue: Te Rauparaha Arena, Porirua
Degree, Diploma and Postgraduate Graduation
 

Regalia collection times:

Tuesday 17 March, 2pm – 5pm from C004 at the Porirua Campus (signposted from the library)
Wednesday 18 March, 9am – 6pm from C004 at the Porirua Campus (signposted from the library)
Thursday 19 March, 9am – 11.45am from upstairs at Te Rauparaha Arena (graduation venue)
 
The graduation confirmation letter needs to be brought when picking up your regalia, this includes people picking up regalia on behalf of graduands.
 
All regalia must be returned after the ceremony to the meeting room upstairs at Te Rauparaha Arena, this will be well signposted.
 

Procession

There will be no procession for graduation today, due to inclement weather. Graduands are asked to meet at Te Rauparaha Arena by 12.15pm.
 

CEREMONY

Guests attending the ceremony need to be seated no later than 12.45pm, (parking may be difficult please allow time for this).  Everyone must remain seated for the duration of the ceremony, in respect for all who graduate.
 
Photography by Woolf will be the official photographers and will photograph graduands as they graduate. It will be possible to order images directly from their website a few days later. www.woolf.co.nz
 
Following the ceremony light refreshments will be served and a cash bar will be available. This is available for all graduands and guests to enjoy.
