Fourth-year students enrolled in the Whitireia Craft Art and Design programme at the Kāpiti campus are having an Open Evening on the 7th of September. Building on the success of last year's event, the evening allows students to exhibit their work publicly. Starting at 3 pm and finishing at 8 pm, the evening will include a welcome and supper.
The diverse group of students who will be exhibiting their work are interested in contributing to their community's enjoyment and appreciation of art. They are hoping to also take part in the Kāpiti Art Festival to be held in January next year. The festival will primarily be aimed at the fun involved in creating art and allow for whole families to participate.
