Learn basic skills to prepare you for further study in either health or social science

This one semester programme will assist you to gain foundation language, literacy, numeracy, and generic skills in order to pursue education or employment pathways. Graduates can apply to enrol in the New Zealand Certificate in Study and Career Preparation (Level 3) with the aim of studying towards a career in nursing, paramedic, midwifery, social work, or teaching.

The New Zealand Certificate in Foundation Skills (Level 2) covers five subject areas.
